Controlled Chaos

As a kid I always did love art. I could have all of my favorite classes in a day but it wouldn’t add up to the excitement of art class. I would always look forward to that one day in the week where I could do my own thing and be creative. I don’t think that I have ever had a art teacher that I hated. I might not have liked the teacher but as long as they gave me time to do my own controlled chaos then I was happy with the class and the teacher.

I like to call my work, controlled chaos because that’s how I look at myself as a person at times and it reflects in my artwork. I can be crazy and chaotic at times but I can control it. With my artwork if you look at it, it might seem all over the place and kind of crazy. If you look even closer though you will see that it does seem to be done on purpose. I didn’t just throw paint on a canvas. I thought about where I wanted to throw paint onto the canvas. To make my art it was a fairly easy but messy process. I would make stamps and then using the stamps on the canvas I would carefully paint in the lines. It was a process in which I hated at times but at the end I loved it. I hope people love my art as much as I do.
